The second song that was composed immediately is on Goddess MahAlakshmi, the goddess of wealth and one of the associates of dEvi durgA. To destroy evil, we need, not only strength, but also strategy (intelligence) as well as wealth (resources). While durgA is the embodiment of strength (sakthi), lakshmi is the embodiment of wealth (resources) and SaraSvati is the embodiment of intelligence. This is the significance of dEvi's fight with MahishASura and his ultimate destruction. Let us pray goddess lakshmi too on the eve of navarAtri.

The song on Goddess KAmAkshi that is posted here was composed in a spur of the moment when I was hearing a song in the rAgam ranjani, a melodious ragam that if sung with bhAvam kindles your emotions. I wanted to compose a song during navarAtri and it was surprising that I could compose three more songs in a row after this for the paNDikai. I feel that it is the grace of Goddesses durgA, lakshmi & SaraSvati. With my salutations to them, I post the song.

I continue my musical journey with a song I composed in the rAgam kEdAragauLai, which is normally used to express bhakthi bhAvam. May be I spent a few months of my childhood near Mylapore KapAlIshwarar temple when I stayed with my grand parents, I have a strong inclination to Goddess KaRpakAmbikai. My passions for music

Since childhood I was very fascinated about some singers and their voices. I also liked a few compositions that were nicely created. As I grew up I had necessary environment to nourish this interest. 


I have a passion for Carnatic music, western pop music, Hindustani gazals, light music with melodious ragas and tunes.


In due course, I developed to compose songs of my own, generally on Gods. Here I am uploading those songs. Hope the viewers like these. I shall be grateful if any comments are made to enable me to improve further, if necessary.
